A great way to start making fresh, delicious chevre in your very own kitchen! Chevre, traditionally made with goat cheese, is a soft, creamy spreadable cheese that's great for any eating occasion. This is an easy to make cheese, perfect for beginning and experienced cheese makers. This Chevre Starter Culture includes 4 direct-set starter cultures to begin making chevre. These cultures are one-time-use only and cannot be recultured. Cultures are easy to use, and require almost no maintenance or care. Store in your freezer until ready to use and culture at room temperature (72-77 F). Direct-set cultures contain both starter culture and rennet.

Instruction and Ingredient Info:

To Use: Combine 1 packet of Chevre Starter with 1-4 quarts of fresh goat milk. For best results, avoid using ultra-pasteurized or UHT milk.
