Special edition developed in collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Inspired by Ernestine Eberhardt Zaumseil’s (American, 1828–1904) Branches and Vines Quilt (ca. 1875), this placemat combines rhythmic, organic movement with nature-inspired forms in an homage to traditional American quiltmaking. Layers of hand-appliquéd texture are reimagined for modern life through precise printing on a durable woven textile that wipes clean.
